Is There Alcohol at a Quinceañera? Planning the Bar for a Quince in Tampa

October 2, 2026 · 2 min read

Yes, most quinceañeras have a bar for the adults. The guest of honor and her court are fifteen, the cousins are every age, and the parents and padrinos expect to toast properly. A licensed bartender is how you give the adults a real bar while keeping the party safe and legal.

Two menus on one bar

  • For adults: two or three signature cocktails in the quince's colors, plus beer and wine
  • For the quinceañera, her court, and younger guests: sparkling mocktails in the same glassware with the same garnish, including a named drink for the birthday girl
  • For everyone: agua fresca or a big-batch punch and water on the bar all night

Why licensed matters with a mixed-age crowd

Serving alcohol to anyone under 21 is a crime in Florida, and at a quince half the room is under 21. BigCee Exotic BarLuxe is licensed, checks who she is serving, keeps the mocktail menu flowing for the young guests, and can pace or refuse service to any adult who has had enough. That protects the family hosting.

Sizing the package

Count every guest, including the court and the kids, because packages are set by total headcount. A quince with 100 guests is the Platinum package at $650 for 6 hours. Up to 150 is Diamond at $800. Up to 200 is Luxury at $950. Each includes the licensed bartender, the styled mobile bar, setup and breakdown, premium mixers, ice, garnishes, cups, napkins, and straws. The family supplies the alcohol.

Venue and timing tips

  • Banquet halls and church halls often require a licensed bartender. Confirm their alcohol policy when you book the hall.
  • Put the bar away from the dance floor entrance so the line does not block the waltz and the surprise dance
  • Plan the champagne or sparkling cider toast with the bartender so the adults get bubbly and the court gets cider at the same moment
  • Quince season books up. Reserve the date as soon as the hall is confirmed.

Booking

Enter the guest count on the booking page to see the package and deposit, sign the agreement, and pay the deposit by card to lock the date. Add the colors, the signature drink ideas, and the toast timing in the notes.
